The Climate Control Unit Powered up but in Idle Mode.

Control Unit Powered up in Auto Mode, the Digi Display shows the Selected Temperature you desire with the In Cab Temperature Sensor verifying that the changes are being met by the cold-hot flaps being moved accordingly.
The Fan Icon has an independant 8 segment display showing the exact speed its currently running at.

These 3 actuators will replace the manually sliding selectors currently on the AX Heater Control Panel. The 3 control:
>>Fresh/Re-Circultated Air
>> Air Flow Flap Position
>> Cold/Hot Flap Movement
Instead of using the cable driven flaps by hand, these drive independly but are strickly controlled by the Unit, where each actuator can be rotated to a 2 degree accuracy.
The ribbon cables shown are daisy chained form the unit with the independant white wire giving each actuator permission to use the ribbon supply.

The fan unit, which shows the housed heater element.
This element is also used for the fan speed control and acts as a 'Tyristor Fire' Type unit as such, with constant 12V Power fed to this and the Negative Feeds controlled by the electronic unit inside.
Ive mapped out the actuator postions in relation to the dispal and they seem to be identical to the AX, which is looking good.
I got plans to somehow intergrate the heating gear into an AX Fan as this aids fitment but Preminary Reports show that that could cause fan speed problems. (too fast or slow)
Plans about intergration into the AX Heater Box are still in the air, as i have optional ideas about Plastic Welding this to run nicely, but also ideas about utilising the standard Heater Box and getting the Air Con Running also in the AX.
I got it fully running on the bench and the results are impressive.
Be warned as the circuitry for this system is yet to be released to the public, as i took me approx. 5 hours sat in the car @ the Scrapyard, shorting out the ignition barrel and powering up the dash loom to find what wires need what supplys. That info is staying in my noggin!

I think it won't work, lack of space.
I have a complete airconditioning system over here, from the Pug 306 I extracted my engine from. On my engine it's situated at the right side of the engine, behind it (seen from the front). It used to be run from the alternator belt in the 306, but I just can't seem to find ANY space to fit it in. That's why I haven't bothered trying. I might start cutting metal on the car I'm gonna pickup this saturday, just to see if it would be possible to fit it half way into the dashboard. Also, you'll have to use a custom alternator belt, which is hard to find in my opinion. If that works, then I might start trying to fit it on my GT.. oh well.. somewhere halfway 2007?
But... if you find a solution:
1) good luck
2) tell me!
