You could replace the original air-intake filter by an open air intake filter, like the K&N. I love the sound of it, especially by accelerating!

Replacing the exhaust muffler by a more "sporty" one also gets you a "sportier" sound. The cheapest way, though, is to just make sure the exhaust is a bit leaky. Cost: €0 and now you're *sure* people will hear you coming.

and when you place the open airfilter directly on the airsystem,
like this:

it yells very fast and loud when you hit the gaspedal.

but if you place a system of pipes on the airsystem, so that the airfilter can be mounted right in the direction of the headlights, you have more fresh air,

and it doesn't yell very fast and loud, only above the 4500 toeren..

on above pictures, all Ax's are injections, Carburateurs have another airsystem, and with an open airfilter it will sound different like an injection.

carburettor air system resembles the injection types.

Gaining more noise from your injection can be obtained by:

- like already said, changing out the air filter for an open air filter
- have a nice stainless steel exhaust pipe (as ss has another mass and another sound as carbon steel)
- changeout of the muffler/silencer

But be prepared as having more noise, can cause serious headaches, especially at certain revolutions, thats why I canged everything back in original (more or less).....

The ax is not well isolated, so everything what you'll hear outside will be heard inside
