I had an AX GT of 88, good car! :-) today, I search for another between 89 and 94, so possible in black!... like the car of "Ricardo" if he wants , he doesn't hesitate to sell it to me! :-) his price will be mine! lol

otherwise, my name is Florence, I'm 28 years old and I live in Aywaille, I speak French, I speak Dutch very badly but I manage in English :-)

If you can help me to find the car of my dreams... thank you for advance!:-)

PS: Speederdd, si tu m'entends, j'ai beaucoup papoté avec DufF, il m'a dit que tu parlais bien français... si tu pouvais me renseigner quand tu vois une jolie AX GT à vendre, ce serait cool! merci!

big kiss everybody and good driving:-)

welcome! and Ricardo just bought his car, so I would think he wouldn't sell it yet (of course you can always try, don't get me wrong!), but sites you might want to keep an eye on are www.marktplaats.nl and www.speurders.nl !

I didn't believe that you really want to import a car like Ricardo's Ax into Belgium.

A lowered, with big wheels, with a loud exhaust, ...... is going to be refused @ our MOT and is going to cost much more than you expect to be made ok.

You say you had a '88 GT, so I think it was a carburator one. (85HP and much of life  ). In Holland the most of the GT's (also from '89 like this from Ricardo) are fitted with injection (75HP, just enough for Holland, not for havin fun in our belgian Ardennes  )

Welcome.

A black GT is a nice choice. I've got one myself (not for sale) ;)
Good luck finding one!

I like your old GT, looking nice with the black skirts on red.

what? the ax GT "injection" aren't good :?: :(

Why? no speed, hard, funny?

an injection is already 75 pk? :?: ...question? no possibility to change it after (modification)? 75 to 85 and more...? (with spaghetti...?or other things...)

what are the big problem?

Thanks, and big kiss everybody :D

It's fast enought, and with a better exhaust system you'll reach aprox. 80 hp i guess.

for how quick it is,
this was my '89 GT 1.4 Injection accelerating from 120 up to about 180 km/h.

It was almost standard back then, and I had some stuff with me so it could have been faster without.

The best way to speed up an AX GT is: spaghetti, K&N airfilter in the original airbox or a decent airbox, lose the catalyser (order an AX GT carb mid pipe and change it for your own), and then LOSE ALL THE WEIGHT YOU CAN! If you don't want anyone in the back, take the seats out, if you don't need the isolation, take it out, leave the 5th wheel at home and so on.

that looks nice, she had an offer of an black ax GT too, but that was a type 2, .... now is the question, what does Florence wants, type 1 or type 2, they are both ax GT injection so that won't make a difference, the amount of km's on the clock are allmost the same.

First of all: welcome to the club!

I'm very sorry Florence, but my AX is not for sale! :)
And even if it was, I wouldn't sell it in the state it is in now. First a couple of things have to be done, and then I will enjoy riding it myself I hope ;).

By the way: where is Aywaille? Never heard of that place...
In bezit van:

- ZX 1.8i Aura 5-deurs uit 1994 (JB-VD-45)

Het halve gereedschap is het goeie werk! ;)

why do you think the '90 from Belgium an injection is ?

It's difficult to say with the picture, but my '90 GT is standard fitted with a carburator. So was my '91 grey GT too.
