So far modifications are:
Saxo suspension and brakes allround
VTR Alloys
40mm lower with Bilstein Shocks Front
Upper and Lower Strut Braces
70mm lower at the rear
Magnex Full Stainless exhaust system
No rear seats
Coming soon:
Extended bonnet
Prowler front and rear bumpers
Smooth kit sprayed in Metallic Grey

Yeah, a few bits were salvaged

Bumper was trashed

but i managed to sell the alloys afterwards (even though a had a flat spot in one of the wheels!)

On the other hand, look on the bright side. This is the perfect excuse do to do it all over again.

I finished the suspension swap two week ago. Couldn't find a Saxo suspension, so I went for a 106GTI suspension. Exactly te same.

I must admid that I'm very curious how you managed to lower your car by 40mm? What kind of springs will do the trick?
With standard 106 springs the front of my car is facing up, due to the lesser weight compared to a 106GTI. Eibach lowering springs didn't do the trick either.
Mind you, I'm not in this for the looks. It's a trackday car. Apart from driving towards en from the circuits, its strictly meant for racing.

Anyway, i lowered my car with -40mm lowering springs from Bilstein. They also do a full kit with includes 2x lowering springs and 4x uprated dampers

Wrecking your precious AX must have been pretty upsetting. Nobody got hurt I hope?

No injuries thankfully, just a grazed knuckle and a bit of shock :shock:

I dont mind doing it all again but it just takes forever, lots of time and effort was put into the last one now ive got it all to do again

That's the topic all right. Take a look at page 5 and you'll find the pictures.
They were taken about a week ago, two days after finishing the new suspension.

And while you're at it, you can make your own real who's who in that section.

I suppose you're part of a Citroën or a AX club in England? Do you guys have a site and/or a forum on the internet too?
Then we could take a look around there.
Would be fun if more English AX enthousiast visited this Dutch forum and vice versa....

Oh, one more question. What size are your alloys and your tires. I already discoverd that 15x6.5inch ET15 alloys with 195/50R15 tyres is overdoing it a bit....

Our main club is www.axownersclub.com (moved from axoc.co.uk) . We have a membership scheme running which is only ?5, feel free to join and you'll find lots of good technical info. It looks like you're pretty good at English (unlike my Dutch

My alloys are 14s, with 185/55/14 tyres, on my old car above i was runnign 195/45/15

What wheel width an offset are your alloys, 6 inch I suppose?
And what about your old car? Minimum wheelwidth with those tyres must be what, 6.5 inch whith an offset 15 or less?
