I See a 1.6 16v enginge with carbs, another camshaft with adjustable camshaft wheel?

It's a 1.6 8V I think ;)

Still 3 stud suspension?
Brakes won't be that much with that power :D

1.6 8v, met 44mm delloro's.
scherpe nokkenassen.
en nog wat pretspul

en dat zou volgens hem goed moeten zijn voor 160 pk, mhhh... kweet et nie :tongue8:

Als het waar is zou het natuurlijk heel leuk zijn...........

ik kom er alleen niet aan, ik heb 140 pk tot nu toe met de volgende setup:

1.6 8v onderblok
2x 40 mm webers
284 graden scherpe nokkenas

Hij heeft 5 mm grotere webers en een scherpere nokkenas (niet mee normaal te rijden)

To the topic starter.........

I have a little bit the same setup right now, only I use 2x 40 mm Webers and have a Kent Cam of 284 degrees......

I have only 140 Bhp........Your setup is a little bit different a sharper cam and 45 mm carbs........

I have 2 questions for you:

1. Why the bigger carbs, if the enigine was a 1.9 it still was enough with 40 mm , only 1.9 16v or higer uses 45mm but if they are extremly tuned they go to 48 mm carbs....

2. I never heard of a cam with 310 degrees, 304 was the higest I thought, but for road use it's out of the question. You can't drive a normal road car with a cam of 304, that's like hell......

So what have you done to the rest of the engine, with the little bit of diferences with my setup can't make 20 Bhp. And i'm not ready yet........

The movie is nice but very small, but you can hear them scream fully amazed

you can get a 316 and a 304 from piper for TU engines

or at least, you could. there was once a 1.4 GTI in Max Power (english mag) which carried a 316 piper cam. They only weren't ably to drive it normally, it had grunt > 5000 r/min, idled at about 1700, and stuttered up till 4500..

OK I didn't really understand you but i will try to answer you as much i can...
on the AX installed carbs 44 m"m of dlroto on 1.6 engine 106 rally.
camshaft with 310 degrees of kent cams or piper cams(im not remember)
porting stage 3
werner poly
and more..
and in the movie the car is after from the engine till the exhaust manifold the car works really good with the carbs that installed on it now
the car driving really good with this camshft and works fantastic!
the impreza that the AX racing with it with chip + bigger turbo
