Normally its 14" but you can put 15" under it..
So wheel size should be R14 or R 15 then...

15 " wheels you need 195-45-R15, you have other tires, but i don't know the measures.

14" you can take 175-55-R14 or 185-55-R14 or things like that, with 14" you got more choice in tires.

but with 15" wheels you have more problems that the wheels can bump into your 'wheelhouse' (did i typ that right?) and that can damage your tires.

but first, i think you need to search for an Ax, and then look for the wheels

I think its clear with that Wheelhouse
Anyway he ment the casing around the wheel to protect ur car from water etc. Maybe that way its more clear;)

no i mean that when you drive over a bump, your wheel will bounce inside the wheelhouse, but when the wheels are too big, it will contact with the wheelhouse, and that will be the begin of damaged tires.

Lol that is what i ment to..;) that the tires will / can damage because they hit the protection of the car above the wheels:P

Are you sure for 175/55 R14...? it is not 175/60 R14 (79H) for to be OK with the technic control (DIV/apk)

I'm not sure... :?

for the indice "H" : is it an obligation??? : "T" is not OK too?

Thanks

The "T" and "H" are speedcode's

I'm not 100% sure about the maxspeed, but the "T" stands for max 190
km/h and the "H" for 210 km/h

You are richt. standard is 165/65-14. Almost the same hight and often used are:

175/60-14
185/55-14

195/45-15

For as far i know the ax GT chic is nog formally rated over 190 km/h so a "T" tire would do fine at the DIV. Since the tires rated H, V , W are rated for higher top speeds you are always allowed to use them instead of a "T" tire. In generally a higher speed rating makes the tire more expensive and in a lot of cases you get less mileage from a high speed version.

When looking for bigger wheels in 3 bolt version you got little choice, that is why quite a lot of people convert the cars to 4 bolt versions.
